It's late in the day, sun is almost setting. A young girl with her new drivers license is driving west on a road beside a field. The sun is directly in her eyes when a dirtbike suddenly appears from the field in front of her.
A tragedy for one family, a haunted memory for another. A roadside memorial that tells the story of a life,
And The Life...

Recorded at Mondo Music Studio, Reno, Nv.

Featuring:
Doug Robertson: Acoustic Guitar and Vocals
Dan Mikeal: Lead Guitar and Vocals
Dan Pike: Violas
Bene' Michael: Vocals

Lyrics

There’s a corner that everyone knows of
A glint of metal on the sign caught my eye
It’s where moments are captured in a heart beat
Sometimes we see it, Sometimes we drive by
Model Airplanes, a slot car and a class ring
Photos of old dogs and dirt bikes
Toys & gadgets, pictures and flowers
At the corner, they’re fresh every night

And the young girl,
Drives the first time
And is blinded
By the sunlight
Doesn’t see him
At the crossing
And the life.... And the life...

Preacher looks at the cross on the roadside
Mumbles prayer, moves on with a sigh Lonely mother passing as the day breaks Thinks of her lost son and she cries.

And the young girl,
Drives the first time
And is blinded
By the sunlight
Doesn’t see him
At the crossing
And the life.... And the life...

There’s a corner that everyone knows of
A glint of metal on the sign caught my eye...
