Moving to Nashville was an exciting adventure for me. Not because of the usual Nashville attractions, but because as I drove there from Nevada, I was going to go through Texas!
Cartoons and movies have always told me that Armadillos are a Texas critter. I was going to finally see one! Expectation was building as I drove through Arizona & New Mexico. Then TEXAS!!!
But not one Armadillo presented itself. That was disappointing.
I continue through Oklahoma, Arkansas, still none of the little guys. I enter Tennessee with the same results until I get to Nashville!
Suddenly I'm seeing Armadillos at the side of the roads! But Why Nashville? I believe I found the answer.
