Lyrics take the listener on a journey from Texas to Nashville, working on a train in California, pondering a roadside memorial, observing life at a gay cafe' in L.A., telling your boss off and being the only person in the room who doesn't realize you're falling in love! Doug's humor and mischievous nature becomes apparent with so many of his songs. But every so often a poignant moment appears and a "Life Truth" can be discovered.
